Data Security

Data protection, data security and the responsible handling of personal data are important to KeyJet GmbH ("https://keyjet.xn--com%2C-yi0c/ "we", "us").
In this privacy policy, we describe how we collect and process personal data (information that relates to a person and identifies him or her directly or indirectly) when you visit our website, use our applications or make use of our services.

1. Personal data that we collect and process in order to provide our website.

You can visit our website and find out about our services without telling us who you are. When you visit our website, however, we collect technical data. These are necessary to provide our website.
As with any connection to a web server, the server on which we provide our website and applications automatically logs and stores certain technical data. This data includes the IP address and operating system of your device, the date and time of use, the website from which you are visiting us and the type of browser you are using to access our website. To the extent that we process personal data in the process, we do so based on our interest in providing the Website, giving you the best possible user experience, and ensuring the security and stability of our systems.
We use fonts from Google LLC "Google" (Google Fonts) on our website. In order to integrate the fonts from Google Fonts into the website, your browser establishes a connection to the Google server in California. In the process, the IP address of your device is transmitted to Google. Google logs records of font file queries and protects this data from unauthorized access. Google analyzes aggregate data to optimize Google Fonts and to identify which websites use Google Fonts. More information about Google Fonts can be found here: https://fonts.google.com. Information on Google's handling of personal data can be found here: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de.2. Personal data that we collect and process for the provision of services
When you use the registration, order, or support forms on our website or inquire about our offers and services by e-mail or telephone, we collect your contact data and other personal data relevant to the contract. We collect and process this personal data for the purpose of providing services and information about our services.
To answer your inquiries, we regularly require your first name, last name, e-mail address, telephone number and customer number. For the conclusion and processing of contracts concerning the use of chargeable services (web hosting, domain and additional services), we require further information, in particular the means of payment chosen by you and (in the case of domain services) information required by regulation, in particular about the holder of the domain and the invoice addressee.
Your payments/donations will be processed via https://www.raisenow.com/en. We receive from Raisenow only transaction data such as the amount of the transaction and a payment confirmation. Information on how Datatrans handles your payment data or on the Datatrans payment pages solution we use can be found here: https://www.raisenow.com/en/imprint.
We process contact and transaction data in order to conclude and fulfill a contract with you or to communicate with you about our offers and services. In addition, we process this personal data based on our interest to best respond to your inquiries, to provide and develop our services in accordance with the contract or to optimize your user experience. Based on our interest to inform you about new developments as well as services and offers of KeyJet, we will provide you with appropriate commercial information if you are interested (e.g. via newsletters). However, you have the option to opt out of receiving such information at any time.

3. Personal data that we collect and have processed to prevent payment defaults.

If you do not pay your invoice despite the fact that the debt is due and you have received a reminder, we may commission a collection agency to demand payment. In such cases, we will provide the collection agency with your contact details, information on the due and unpaid debt and, if necessary, debt collection information. The processing and forwarding of your personal data is based on our interest in avoiding payment defaults.

4. Personal data that we store and provide on your behalf.

We collect and process (personal) data on your behalf, which you store yourself when you use our hosting services. These processing operations consist of the storage, provision, transmission and deletion of data in accordance with our contractual agreements with you.
When providing hosting services, we process the personal data and other data that you choose to store on the infrastructure we use to provide the service, as well as personal data concerning persons to whom you grant access to your website or applications. In particular, this includes personal data that is usually collected when websites and applications are called up or executed and used (log data, e.g. the IP address and the operating system of the user's device as well as the date and access time of the browser). Furthermore, this includes the data entered by the user as well as the usage data with personal reference collected from you.
Insofar as we process personal data, we do so in accordance with our contractual obligations to you as a processor. You remain responsible for the lawfulness of the processing of the personal data and other data stored by you, including the permissibility of commissioned and subcontracted processing.

5. How and for what we use cookies

We use cookies on our website and applications to provide you with the best possible user experience and to obtain clues to improve our service.
Cookies are text files that are downloaded to your computer or mobile device when you visit a website or use an application. Some of these (known as session cookies) are necessary to enable us to provide you with the use of certain features.
In addition, we use cookies to enable the analysis of the use of our website, the optimization of our services and the use of online marketing services. For more information on web analytics and our marketing activities, please see the sections "Data we collect and process to analyze and improve the use of our website" and "Data we collect and process to target potential customers".
By adjusting the settings of your web browser accordingly or setting an opt-out cookie of the web analytics or marketing service, you can prevent the respective service from storing cookies on your device and collecting data. Furthermore, you can delete already stored cookies at any time. However, please note that some functions of our website or applications may be limited or unavailable if you disable the storage of cookies.

6. Data that we collect and process in order to analyze and improve the use of our website.

We use Google Analytics, an analysis service provided by Google, to evaluate the use of our website and to obtain information for the purpose of improving our services.
Google Analytics uses cookies to evaluate your use of the website, to create reports about the activities of users on the website and to provide us with other services related to the use of the website and applications. We have a legitimate interest in this.
We only use Google Analytics with IP anonymization activated. This means that your IP address is shortened in Switzerland, the EU or the EEA. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transferred to a Google server in the USA and shortened there. Accordingly, Google stores the information collected via cookies only in anonymized form and processes it in aggregated form. You can prevent Google Analytics from using your data by downloading (https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=de) and installing a browser add-on to disable Google Analytics. Further information on data protection and your choices in connection with Google Analytics can be found here: https://support.google.com/analytics/answer/6004245?hl=de.

7. Data that we collect and process in order to address potential customers in a targeted manner.

We use Google Tag Manager on our website to create tags for our website and applications. These tags enable us to target marketing measures regarding our services to potential customers (re-targeting).
We use advertising technologies from Google (AdWords). According to our settings in Google Tag Manager, Google sets so-called conversion cookies. This is necessary to verify the effectiveness of the corresponding advertising measures. We have a legitimate interest in this. In addition, we use Google Tag Manager to set re-targeting tags. These tags enable us to target users with information about our services in accordance with our legitimate interest when they visit other websites. More information on how AdWords analyzes advertising effectiveness can be found here: https://support.google.com/adwords/answer/7521212?hl=de. Information on setting options regarding cookies can be found above under "How and for what we use cookies".

8. How we process and protect your personal data; how long we keep it for.

We collect and process your personal data confidentially, responsibly, as described in this privacy policy and in accordance with applicable data protection laws. We store your personal data only for as long as and in the manner required for the purposes described or for legal reasons.
In most cases, our processing of personal data is subject to the provisions of the Swiss Federal Law on Data Protection (DSG) and the associated Ordinance (VDSG). The standard of protection provided thereby is comparable to that of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). For some processing that occurs occasionally, the provisions of the DSGVO, as well as the provisions of other data protection laws that may apply, may also apply directly. For these cases, we refer in this Privacy Policy to the legal basis (performance of contract or overriding legitimate interest) on which we process personal data.
In the interest of confidentiality, integrity and contractual availability of personal data, we take appropriate technical and organizational measures. In particular, we implement access controls, access controls and procedures for regular review, assessment and evaluation of the effectiveness of the measures in accordance with our risk assessment.
We store personal data only to the extent and for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which the personal data was collected, we have a legitimate interest in retaining it, or we are required to do so by law.

9. With whom we share your personal data

In order to fulfill a contract, protect our interests, or comply with legal requirements, it may be necessary for us to disclose your personal data to the following categories of recipients: Registrars, domain registration partners, SSL providers, collection agencies, or courts and authorities.
When providing domain services, it is necessary for the processing of the contract and for legal reasons that we pass on (personal) data to our domain registration partners. They will transmit the data to the relevant registries and have it made accessible via a Whois service. Depending on the top-level domain concerned, this may include: Name, complete address and telephone number of the holder of the domain name, if applicable (in the case of legal entities and partnerships) the names of the natural persons entrusted with the representation of the company, the complete address (incl. e-mail) of the billing and administration contact as well as the technical contact, the data of the registration of the domain name concerned and the last change of this registration as well as the IP address of the activated DNS servers.
For the provision of SSL services, it is necessary for the execution of the contract that we disclose the domain concerned to the SSL provider.
For the purpose of credit assessment or for debt collection purposes, we may disclose your personal data to debt collection agencies to the extent necessary for this purpose and as described above. For more information on avoiding payment defaults, see "Personal data we collect and have processed to avoid payment defaults". If we are requested to do so by courts or authorities and are legally obliged to do so, we will disclose your personal data to them or to other third parties.
If data transfers to organizations in countries without adequate data protection are necessary, we comply with the provisions of the FADP (or, where applicable, the GDPR) regarding international data transfers (e.g., by selecting service providers that are subject to the U.S.-Swiss Privacy Shield or by including recognized standard contractual clauses for data transfers).

10. Your rights regarding your personal data

You have rights under the DPA and other applicable data protection laws (including, where applicable, the GDPR) in relation to personal data we collect and process about you.
You have the right to obtain information about the personal data we process about you. You have a right to rectification of your personal data as well as to restriction of processing. In addition, you have a right to erasure of your personal data and a right to object to processing of personal data. Where the GDPR applies and we are processing for the performance of a contract or based on your consent, you also have a right to receive a copy of the personal data for transfer to a third party. Copies of the content of the website or application we store for you can be made independently of this at any time via my.KreativMedia itself.
Please note that exceptions or limitations apply to these rights. In particular, we may need to process and store your personal data in order to fulfill a contract with you, to protect our own legitimate interests such as the assertion, exercise or defense of legal claims, or to comply with legal obligations. To the extent legally permissible, in particular to protect the rights and freedoms of other data subjects and to protect our legitimate interests, we may therefore refuse to comply with your data protection-related requests, e.g. requests for information and deletion, or comply with them only to a limited extent. However, you have the right to file a complaint with a competent supervisory authority.
If you wish to exercise your data protection rights as a user of a website or application of one of our customers, please do so directly against the respective operator of the website or application.
